and various 80's rock and heavy metal groups.

Some all time favorites are (in no particular order):

Sound Garden,

Foo Fighters,

Scorpions,

Ozzy,

Rush,

Led Zepplin,

CDs?  What are those?

I only have two CDs, Metallica's black album and GNR Appetite for Destruction.  The rest are tapes, or now as of recent, mp3 that are still on my computer.  I listen to the radio almost 90% of the time anyway, why pay for music when you can get it for free?  Combination of country and hard rock is good for me.

My 7 year old son laughs when we show him the 45's and LP's me and my wife still have.  As amatter of fact, she still has a couple 8 tracks packed up somewhere.  LOL.

Hey my mom has LPs too. Every time I try to pickup Black Sabbath or something she goes: "Why are you getting that? I can make tapes off my LPs." LOL

I end up getting something she doesn't have on LPs.

I have hundreds of CD's. To tell you the truth I don't know why I buy them. I hardly ever listen to them. I mostly listen to the radio. Besides that, on my way to work and back I am too busy thinking all the time, I mostly have the radio off. I have too many things going on in my life right now. Kinda sucks, it's hard to appreciate life the way I would like to. Plus, most of my free time I spend here. :-)

Thats about my feelings.  I do have about 20 CD's, but I have gotten most of them for gifts, and they all have songs I really like on them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes to listen to country and hard rock.  I get some wierd looks at the pre-sets on my stereo.   LOL

These guys here in the dorm at college don't know what is up with me.  They hear some Hank Jr. followed by Black Sabbath, then some Kenny Chesney.  "She thinks my tractor's sexy" has become the song that I am known for among this predominatly Chicago crowd.  Can't forget Cledus T. Judd!  That guy always gives me a laugh.
