I have an 01 Sierra 5.3 and i wanted to know what i can do to my truck for performance, i already have a K&N air intke kit, mass airflow sensor and dual exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. What else can i do?

get a tune, it all depends how much money you wanna spend...if you got lots of it, slap a big puffer on it...

As stated earlier. Get a custom tune and you'll be very pleased with the results

first thing you need to do is put the stock MAF back on, you are not getting any help with the larger MAF. Jenna will tell you about it when she chimes in.

 

Then, get a blackbear tune.

I'll go ahead and say get a Blackbear also, was easily dollar for dollar the best mod that I did to my truck. Just makes it so much more fun to drive IMO

You can lose some engine weight by draining all the oil. apparently you can drive around for at least 8,000 miles without it these days.

Get a higher stall converter and then match the cam to the converter. You will want a converter that stalls slightly under the torque peak of the engine. And then of course getting gears will help 0-60 also depending on how much power you can put down.
