Mounted my maglite

I've been comtemplating where I wanted to do this for quite a while, and finally decided to mount it next to the center console, on the tranny hump.  Now I have a little more room in my center console.  :thumb:

 

That one is a 2 D-cell light, but a 3 cell will fit there also.  The seat barley touches the light if it's all the way down and all the way forward, but no one but my mom would have the seat like that, and she won't drive my truck, so that's not a problem.

Thanks.  Just D-cell mounting brackets that I piccked up from a local hardware store.  I replaced the screws with some stainless steel ones though.

Actually maglite also makes a direct wired charger for vehicles as well.  The department I was an aux. for had it in their cruisers.

You could mount one just to the right of your t-case handle John.  Kind of up on the hump, instead of on the side.  Or behind the seat or console.

Yep, the seat track on my buckets seem to keep my 4 cell in place without a problem.

Tried that a long time ago, and it rattled to much for me.

I bought them over a year ago, but if I remember correctly, they were around $4 or $5 for the pair.   :thumb:
