Wheres The 4x4 Stickers

Hello, I'am new to the forum so bare with me please. I have a simple question about the 2009 chevy 2500 hd I just bought from the dealer It's a ext cab long bed all the trailer pkg. stuff single batt. and no snow plow prep. question is why doesn't it have skid plates or 4x4 stickers on it ? The truck was ordered by a person who hauls a racecar trailer and thats all I know seams a little strange . Hope someone can shed a little lite on this thanks in advance! Dave

checked gm's 2009 truck specs listing on the web and what do ya know theres a picture of a 2009 ext cab l-box 4x4 on there with out stickers! My truck is for sure a 4x4 and the most awsome truck i've owned [had many ] just little things like this strike me funny, With the LTZ pkg. 92000 gvw and all the bells and whistles ,Ya think the NZZ skid plate pkg. would be standard equip.! It only has 12,000 on the clock and I hope to have a long and fun filled time with her . Well like I said newbee here and was just wantin alittle input thanks guys Dave

I removed mine as soon as I pulled it into the driveway the first day I got it.

If he removed them I wouldnt be surprised either, i took mine off the first week I had it, looks so much cleaner IMO

yeah he probably removed them.. i dont know many people who like the 4x4 stickers

Yup I had my Z71 sticker removed before I picked the truck up.

You will find most people on here have issues with any sort of decals, stickers, emblems. I didn't know people took them off until I joined this forum. That being said I like mine and they are on my truck. I don't see the point in taking them as well as all the emblems off, it makes the truck look wierd. If you want the stickers any Chevy dealership can get some on there for ya.

Sorry I prefer the opposite. hehe... I like the both of you have no issues with mine. But my guess to your question would be like others said that someone took them off.

 

I know at one time on the Grand Prix forum I frequent too, debadging was a big thing but never really appealed to me.

i prefer my Z71 decals, i mean you wouldnt take a SS or Z28 emblem off of a camaro. Wait, I know some of you would! I like the clean look on alot of the trucks in here that have them removed, I just look at how low the 4WD even with a leveling kit sit, and with no emblem, not sure if its a 2WD or 4WD. Not knocking 2X's, just for identification, but I also prefer the stock wheels, minus the stock tires.
