New Tahoe!

Well some of you know by my for sale post. I traded in the 07 Sierra for an 08 Tahoe. I think I came out great in the deal. The 07 Sierra was the basic z71 SLE truck with 31,000 miles and I got in exchange an 08 Tahoe 3LT with all the options other then rear tv and navigation with 20,000 miles. And I get bumper to bumper warrany up to 48,000 miles or 5/2012. Kind of nice to have that again since the Sierra didn't have it anymore.

 

I was able to swap a couple things over to the tahoe.

 

List of mods so far are;

 

1.5" leveling kit

285/70/17 BFG and Gunner 6 rims

Volant intake

blacked out bowtie

upgraded headlight bulbs to PIAA extreme white bulbs

Edge programmer

removed roof rack cross rails

 

Some mods to come;

 

tint

exhaust resonator delete mod.--- SLP unit with dual chrome tip

Maybe some smoked led taillights

Looks good, is it silver birch? We have an LT1 08 Tahoe just rolled over 20K and it has been a great SUV.

Both good looking rides. Would have been tough for me to part with that Sierra.

It is graystone metallic color.

 

It was hard to part with the Sierra but I didn't use the bed to justify keeping it plus I got a steal of a deal for trade in. The tahoe is more suited for our needs and I noticed that today when we were out and about.

It is a full replacement billet bowtie powdercoated black. Got the set on ebay.

Just curious..but what did you get on trade for your Sierra. I had an SLE1 Crew 4x4 as well and got 19500 when I traded on my 2010 Tahoe. Mine had 97k on it though.

What size rims did it originally have on it? I like the BFGs on it but I am going with cooper zeons I think next yr when I change them out.
