Passenger Side Weathertech Floor Mat Slides

I have the Weathertech floor mats in my truck and love them. The only thing that I don't like about them is that the passenger side mat seems to move and slide alot when you get in and out. My wife is short and has to use the grab handle to get in and when she plants her foot on the mat it tend to want to slide forward. It has caused her to almost fall from the truck a time or two when it slides.

Is there a way to keep the mat from sliding forward? I wish they had made it like the driver's side mat with the hook that screws into the carpet. I thought of using some industrial velco to keep it from sliding. I'm just wondering if the adhesive will stick to the carpet.

Any other suggestions?

I wondered this myself, I mean you pay over $100 for a set of floor mats and it seems like they half assed it.

The set on my wife's bimmer has a velcro top on the fastener that screws into the floor. I thought about calling the company and asking if they could send me a set like that so that I could just screw them into the floor and then add velcro to the floormat.... I just haven't had the chance to call.

I have the same problem as well guys. However if you say something like this in a post about weather tech floor mats being good or not. People say they are the best thing since sliced bread and they never have a problem. I say BS!! I had Xtreme Catchalls in my 01 that had a hook for the passenger and driver side. I got Weather Techs for my 09 because they were so recommended and they are flat over the door sill so you can brush the dirt with out removing the mat. I guess I should sell them and get the Xtremes.

you folks talking MATS or FLOOR LINERS?

I have the floor liners and don't experience this what-so-ever. My passenger liner stays put. :smash:

I am talking floor liners. The floor liner is the nicest floor mat covering whatever that I have ever bought. I just wish that they would have put a hook on the passanger side. The mat doesn't slide far but it moves far enough for it to be annoying.
