I know, but But Still, That was the Greatest Day in GM Trucks History! It was the Day Chevrolet and GMC PROVED that they are in fact BETTER Than Ford!

i'm happy the chevy won, but in all reality those trucks were modified...i was expecting the dodge to win just because of the age gap between trucks..they should of limited it to a certain number of years..in all reality if they for example limited the trucks to the 90s the dodge would of have the biggest advantage with the danas

I bet it was a combo of the Mileage, the Lift and Terra Grapplers, and I bet the Engine ingested a bit of water in the Crankcase, and it turned the oil into sludge.

The 73-87 GM trucks took MAJOR abuse... I know, I abused the &^$%!!! out of mine for 7 years. The dodge unless it was a 318, i would have expected engine problems. I am suprised the fords front end didn't fall out from underneath it, and the GM probably would have rusted out first

Those 4 speeds are one of the reasons so many think Chrysler has lousy transmissions.

ONLY because people were too STUPID to put the PROPER Fluid in the transmission!

Rutledge CLAIMED that it had a 5.7, when in Actuality, the Ram only came with the 318 (5.2) and the 360 (5.9). and the Furd's Driveshaft snapped on a large Rock.

It snapped because the idiot driving it smashed it into a rock. It was fun to watch but those 3 toolbags broke so many safety rules of off-roading it's not even funny.
