Switch From Hypertech To Blackbear

I apologize if this has been been discussed, no luck searching. I was given a Hypertech (30019) programmer, not something I would go out and buy I have wanted a BB from day 1 but couldn't complain about the price. My question is it worth the money to switch? The Hypertech improved performance a little but still not happy with the performance thats why I'm still thinking about it. I have a 2003 1500HD by the way. Thanks for the responses in advance.

You will feel a much bigger difference with the BB tune. I don't believe the hypertech will change much with the transmission and that is were BB tuning really shines. Reducing the Tourqe Managment is the key to a more responive truck.

Yes... Hands down BB is better. I've had both.

There are so many different opions on ships and programmers. I opened a forum under performance and got lots of different responses. I am also trying to decide what to get. So many options. You should go check out my post you might find your answer.

if i had a newer truck(and when i buy my brand new truck), the FIRST and i mean first thing i am doing is getting a new exhaust and ordering the BB. its that good.
