05GMCZ71 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 How nice it is to not have to see the annoying ads from doubleclick and googleads. I've blocked those domains from my router and while it takes an extra second or two for the forum to load up, it's WELL worth it. Yay me.
Wingnut Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Why don't you just use Firefox with Adblock? Works better, and you can switch it on/off with a click...Fully customizable, you can whitelist certain ads (like the vendors on the left if you frequently use the link), single pages, or entire websites.
KMGZ400 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 i dont know why everone is obsessed with firefox... i had it and hated it. the updates were really annoying and on top of it all it was much slower then simple IE. that just how i feel about it, i know there are millions that love it
05GMCZ71 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 On the contrary, I have found firefox to be significantly faster than IE.

Not a fan of IE but I find it more user friendly than FF or Chrome.. however IE9 sucks donkey nuts all around, not user friendly, slower than shite, and the 64 bit versions of all of them suck.. I did like SeaMonkey, but a lot of sites don't look right in it.....

ChevyTech77 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I've alway preferred FF over IE until the lastest FF update. Now it will not show the cursor when attempting to type in the reply text box on this website only, for some reason. Real pain in the rear. IE9 works fine though.

MikeNH Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I've been using FF for like 6 years now and stand by it. IE is slow and doesn't have a fraction of the features FF does.
Lances07Z71 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I've been running Safari for a couple of years and love it.
Porter_ Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 FF fan checking in. simple, fast, user-friendly....from my perspective.
TheTrueMoron Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Safari with AdBlock: fantastic. Fast and ad free GM-Trucks.com surfing!
06_GMC Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I just prevented all this BS and run safari on my Mac. Works great! And nobody turn this into a Apple PC debate please.
