Looking at using the price on one truck to negotiate the price on the other. What is the easiest way to do this. Links to the two trucks provided.

I think they are identical, but the black one has the oval step bars, so I would like to negotiate the price of the white one down to about 34,800

Thanks in advance to anyone who can do this

nevermind I figured it out..white truck has trailer brake contrrolloer for 200 bucks and 3.08 rear end at no charge

the black truck has the oval steps at no charge

other than that they are optioned identical

however...with the white truck coming out more expensive it's total MSRP is less than the total MSRP on the black truck, yet the dealer with the black truck is offering a lower sale price. I don't get it...I need a decision by tomorrow

You should offer them less than what they show on their website for the black truck. Maybe $34.6 or $34.7, or maybe even less. They're give $2500 rebate, $750 cashback, $2005 down payment assistance for a total of $5,255 in rebates. I figure invoice is $39.9 less the $5,255. Good luck, but there have been some complaints on the black cloth interiors of these trucks as they seem to collect a lot of lint.

Strange.............. My 2010 along with my brothers are both terrible. they collect EVERYTHING that touches them. What interior do you have? Ebony cloth is horrible, just as bad as my dads 08.

Dont do the 3.08 gears especially in a 4WD! When my truck was stock and above 15,000 miles i could get a pretty steady 19.5 to 20.5 on the highway @78 on long trips. IMO, the 3.08 will put the truck below its optimal RPM range, I wish that the 3.73 was an option for the 5.3 but its not. Drive them both the same way on the same road and get your own opinion though, its your money.
