Heated Mirrors

Acording to my vin # and RPO codes I have heated outside mirrors but I dont see any indication of them. Ive noticed on other vehichles it would be stamped on the mirror itself.

How can I tell if in fact I do have them..........short of waiting for winter.

There is no indication, if your sticker says you have them then you do. It might get warm with defrost on but around here its like 90°you so you can't tell anyhow.

Thanks for the quick responce. I was just wondering about the mirrors even tho its 95 here today, it is an odd time to research them, :0)

Do you have a Gmt-800 or 900 ?

Do you have the rear window defogger also?

The mirrors will heat up when you turn on the rear defog.

 

The mirrors will not have any special markings on them either

to note they are heated.

My older Cadillacs had the mirror with a squiggle line symbol in them

to denote they are heated. My 07 NO !

If you don't have an electrical rear window defroster but have the button, then the button is for the mirrors.
