Cooled Glovebox? Gmt 900

when i bought my 09 sierra the dealer said the top glove box is cooled, my truck has two, the big one on the bottom and a smaller one on the top. i know a dodge rental car we had actually blew cold air into it to keep your beverages cool, but this thing doesnt seem to do the same and the owners manual doesnt talk about, i think it refers to it as the instrument panel storage, something along those lines. anyways im starting to think its not an actually cold storage of any kind. can anyone confirm this for me?

That's probably the same salesman that told me that the Sierra has a heavier steel frame and more insulation for a more quiet ride than a Silverado.

not all salesmen are like that just weak ones. I never said that stuff because I always found something to talk about that was true and worthwhile. I loved when others would try to say GMC's are quieter, use more bolts and heavier steel for better quality I would just shake my head lol

ahh well i didnt buy it for the cooled glove box, lol. he was right on the other goodies and helped me out quite a bit due to the issues i had with my old sierra, even delivered the truck and paper work to my house. this is just another place for me to stash crap, lol.

Oh yeah, and I was also told that the backup sensor button prevents the truck from rolling a few inches backward when the transmission is put in park on a steep hill......Shows you how much he really cared about his job.
