this is my 72 lwb 2x4 that i have been working on. this is a picture i took the night i got it. sometimes i wish i would have never touched it, but getting rid of the rust and bondo and nice fresh paint top and bottom will pay off!

its a 350 4-bold with turbo 350 tranny. original motor bout 130,000 miles.

 

i am going to lower it 6/4 and put it on 20's, shave the sides, roll pan, 5% tint, wing glass delete. i have a set of 58cc heads from a tuned port camaro, edelbrock manifold, holley 650 double pumper, aluminum valve covers, pulleys, air cleaner, a chrome water pump. planning to purchase cam+lifters, hei ignition, alum. radiator w/electric fans, and a locker for rearend. bucket seats+ ect. on the interior. not really the conventional way to go, but it is different from anything around where i live. the only thing i cannot make my mind up on is the paint. i would love the look of all flat black with chrome wheels and grille, and all that chrome on the motor. on the other hand, gloss black would look amazing too. part of me wants to paint it a green close to what it is now. how about some color suggestions?

Black on top, green strip, silver on the bottom

 

The black would look awesome, then the Green to tie into the original color, and the silver on the bottom would look amazing with the top two colors
