Ok so what are you all getting your significant other (wife, gf, fiancee, etc)

I need some ideas.  Jewerly is kinda out of the question (she has a watch, necklaces, rings, etc)

I am really thinking snowmobile  :D  or some nice tools that she can store in my toolbox (have you seen the commerical where the guy buys his family all tools and says you can store those in my nice new toolbox hehe)

Thanks

I dunno man, I've got the same dilema myself.  At least jewerly is always an option for me, a nice necklace perhaps, but who knows.  I'm sure I'll find something for her.

Women, why must they be so hard to shop for.  And after I find something for her I still have to find stuff for my three sisters and mom  :D

I have the same problem as you guys.  Did yours tell you jewelry was out of the question, or was that your assumption?  I can tell you ALL about assumptions :D

I'll probably wind up getting her some sort of jewelry (earrings or something) and then something soft and/or fuzzy (slippers, blanket, moose head...)

Tools, while probably the best gift (other than maybe cash...) are out of the question.  My experience is that anything that is useful is completely  :D

Ekonk

I agree you can not go wrong with jewelry but I must point out the problem with moose head is that it leaves antler marks. :D

I would love to get my wife some new pots and pans but she would not even be able to tell you the colour of our stove..

jewelry it is ehh!

Bracelet i got her 2 yrs ago she never wears cause it gets in the way

She always wears the heart necklace and ring i got her so she doesnt really need anymore of those

Earrings - she doesnt wear em cause she is allergic to most of the metals.  Last time she worse earrings was like may 01

I was wanting to get her a new winter jacket (thats what she wants) but she told me NO cause it is to expensive.  Its not that expensive and i plan on getting it if i can find it and somewhere that doesnt have it at full price.

other options: snowmobile

:D

This is what I do. I make her make a list for me to go off of. Things separate of what she wants from other people. Then I just pick what I can find at the store. I know it's supposed to be a surprise, but it is better they get what they need/want. Otherwise they are back at the store after Xmas, wasting more time at the store. I do always try to get a surprise gift though too. I also normally buy something I can use also. Kind of a gift for both of us.

A nice jacket is a good idea you have. Then you could get gloves and hat to go with it. Then maybe some little things like CD's or DVD's. A bottle of red whine might help things a bit too.  :D  :D  :D

I have a list... a couple things I want her to have, a couple things she needs, and something she wants.

She drinks coffee, they have this coffee maker now that makes coffee into a travel cup/thermos/non-spill cup.  It comes with two cups and she doesn't have to worry about making a pot.  Just turn it on when she gets up and grab the cup on the way out the door.

Gift cert. to Victoria's Secret

Deep Freezer

Velux Blanket

I got my wife a Tahoe!

Then a gold key fob to go with her new truck key, and a yellow gold and white gold bracelet.

I still haven't gotten lucky for the truck, maybe the jewelry will push her over.
