Full Size Truck Bed Shake

Curious if anyone else noticed the beds of pickups shaking/vibrating while driving? I've seen it in a few times of differing truck models. Specifically the rear of the bed looks like it wasn't bolted down to the frame tight enough, as though the bed sides were thin plastic. Hasn't been a GM truck so that's good news. I would think you would feel this kiddie pool vibration while driving.

Exactly! Not quite to this extreme but all the trucks I've seen were on flat smooth"ish" highway which is why I was so shocked to see this happen. Dang I hope my bed doesn't look like that on my truck.

worst i have seen is on a toyota tundra, bed about shook off as he turned the corner at no more than 10 mph.

Toyota uses a C-channel frame on most of their frame which is why you see the flex. Not convinced that makes the frame weaker- big rigs have c-channel frames that flex and they're obviously stout.

Do the chev 1500 have a fully boxed frame now like there HD . Fords f150 is fully boxed frame .

Not entirely sure but I'm so happy that my turck doesn't have the shakes like these other vehicles do.
