Bluetooth Answering Delay

Hello all. When I answer my phone with my bluetooth there is a delay - sometimes it's only a second - sometimes it's 3 to 6 seconds. Often I can hear the other person, but they can't hear me. I was using a Droid and had this issue since the truck was new. I thought it might have been the phone. I got a new iphone 4s last week and it does exactly the same thing - so I don't think it's a phone issue. I have read about some problems with the iphones pairing with the GMC trucks, but I'm not having the probelms they mentioned. My local dealer has always been good, but they seem to think it's a phone issue and as I mentioned I don't think this is the case.

Thanks!

where do you place the phone in the truck.. it appears to have an affect on the connection.. I find that if I have mine on my belt I get something similar, but if I place it in the cup holder or on (or in) the center console I don't..

just a thought.

Mine also is this way. No matter where I have my phone. I have gotten in the habit of just counting to 5 before I say anything after hitting the answer button.

Same with mine, but it's the same in my wife's Lexus too so I think it's just the nature of the beast.
