New GMC

Been lurking for a few weeks. Wasn't going to buy new, but with the rebates I couldn't pass it up. Got a 2011 GMC 1500 crew cab SLE 4X4 Z71. Love it so far. I hate to sell my Tacoma, its been bulletproof but with a baby on the way we need more room. Appreciate the help you guys have already been.

Not a big mod person, I'm a plain guy. Will be getting spray in liner and I think my wife will soon be making me get some running boards/step bars, and I'm ok with that.

Looks good. Just recently bought a 2011 Sierra myself and sold my 1998 Silverado. Only mod I plan at this time is to make the fog lights actually provide some useful light.

PIAA 540 with fit kit for 2007-2009 works beautifully.

Welcome, welcome! I know the feeling. I was shopping used as well and they were so high that when the rebates and price cuts came, I did the same thing you did. Got my new Silverado just a month ago.

 

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I've been enjoying mine.

 

I'd like to hear what anyone does about the fog lights too. Maybe PIAA has something?
