Dreaded Oil Leak

I had the same leak on my 2007. Engine oil cooling lines aren't covered under warranty... until you make the right phone calls.

I have a new oil leak now. Either oil pan gasket or rear main seal.

Well got the truck back. Issue was a bad oil cooler line. God I missed the 6.2 for a day, I had to drive the darn 5.3 Tahoe

Really, I had no issues with mine at all. Covered 100% under warranty. They did put a new style connection. I will snap some photos tomorrow. Hopefully these hold up much better.

how did the cooler line leak into the bell housing? IDK i wasnt there

are you guys afraid of having the guts ripped out from under your truck from a guy that does it everyday ??

 

it is and always will be kid stuff to me , i did it for so long ,,im just saying the truth,not bragging at all,do not mis read it,im just curious is all,i made it a point for it to look like no one was under a customer veh,perfect every time,a pride thing for me ,IDK how other techs feel .

They were added to the warenty sometime after 2007.

Did u see the photo of the cooler line I posted? That definitely was one area it was leaking. We will see going forward if this fixed it but I have to say after driving tonight I don't see any signs of leaks like it has the past few wks

i saw that and give them that repair but i wish i can wrap my head around the bell housing leak,

 

you will obviously keep an eye on it ,which is good

Yea i don't get it either. What's wierd is that it only shows up every few wks there. We will see time will tell
