While the plastics are hard and feel cheap I must admit I love the look of the Generals interior and only hope the future full sizes brings a much more upscale look with more quality materials used.

Thank you Bad bird, I love the General's full size line up especially with the LTZ, SLT trims. If you go with the Sierra really consider the SLT option. The reason I got hooked on the truck line was because I had a rental SLT for a week while my G6 was being serviced and since then it had me wanting more. You wont be disappointed. And even better in a year when you're in the market you'll certainly have the opportunity to look at the redesign and then make your choice.

Well went to the new car show today here in Knoxville. Gm had their Test Drive experience so i signed up. Got to drive a new Sierra crew cab with the 5.3, a new Camaro SS and a Volt. Loved my 10 minutes in the Sierra and Camaro...in the market next year probably for a new truck. The Sierra was really quiet on the road and very comfortable to drive. Had good power with the 5.3... keep in mind i have been driving a 2002 F150 with a 4.6 and 152,000 miles...lol..one day i will have a new Sierra..oh yeah the Maro was a SS Transformers edition...pretty much a blast to drive

there was actually one of those on Alexander Chevy-Buick-GMC's Lot! can't understand dropping $3K on an option that is essentially Hollywood Merchandising.

highspedvehicle, looks like you have my favorite color right now too! I had a 2000 Trans Am at one time (hence the username) and it was that ruby red/burgandy color. I never saw another one that color.. looks beautiful on the trucks as well!

09LowesSilverado, yeah, tell me about it! Just some stickers and a taller deck wing is all.
