What gas do you guys like.. Shell,texaco,sunoco

Just curious what gas you guys think isbetter than others, Me and a freind of mine were talking last night and said his father has some v6 impala and using shell he was getting 33-34 mpg. when he used the gas from a turkey hill station he went down to 29-30

What would cause that, and why is shell better? Does the ethenol have anything to do with it??

you do lose some mpg with ethanol in the blend...as far as differences in gas, all gas is the same until each station adds its own package too it...i myself use kwik trip 100%

Best i can find around here is sunoco 93 octane.

 

Ethanol free gas is not around here unfortunately.

yea i have no ethanol free gas available, but i prefer chevron/texaco. where i lived in florida there were 2 stations with 100% real gas but when the "normal" ethanol blend was $3.40 the 100% good shit was like $4.05 a gallon

I like using the Ultra94 from petro-canada, it used to be sunoco. Get milage with it compared to the diluted crap with ethanol.

I run Chevron 93 with Techron or Shell 93 only. I won't use crappy gas in this baby.

Around here there are only 2 top gas stations Shell and BP everything else is cheap gas that I do not bother with. I use Shell 87 on my truck and it does just fine.

sunoco, the only time i had ever pumped "real" gas into my truck was when i took a trip up to canada near ottawa.

87 Shell in my 07 5.3. Manual says no gains by using higher octane. Looking into BlackBear tune and will consider going with 93 Tune.
