How obsessed are you with your truck, appearance, & accessories?

I like everything to be just right with my truck.

 

I bought an air freshener the other day based on the fact that the color of it matched my truck, not on what the scent was.

 

I have a little trash can that I keep behind my front seat. Tonight I spray painted it gray to match my interior.

 

My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy.

Weather permitting I was wash mine every other week it seems. After I get home from somewhere with the wife, I grab the quick detailer to get rid of the finger prints she leaves on the exterior paint when she gets in or out on the door. If I go somewhere and take the dogs with me, when I get back home I grab the dog fur bush to grab as much fur as I can (damn ebony cloth seats). Yea, just a little obsessed you can say. I once used meguires ultimate shine on the gm slush mats, when the wife jumped into the truck she slipped and fell right out on the garage floor, good times....

Try to wash mine least once a week or I'm going outta town or things like that. Truck is gettin buffed here in a couple of weeks. Needs it bad.

I wash it and clean the interior at least once every two weeks, but it's still dirtier than most just because of where I live. Especially with over 3 inches of rain on my road this week.

I keep the interior picked up (trash) constantly, vacuumed occasionally, washed infrequently, waxed rarely, but abolutely obsessed with keeping the maintenance up to date (lubes, tires, fluids, etc).

 

 

Crazy? The wife calls me even when I'm NOT working on one of the vehicles...lol

on my 93 i'd have to say ...........not so obsessed ,,,lol

 

i have a cab corner to replace but have no ambition anymore since my used injection pump i put on in Nov (from the 93 engine) is a PIG !!!

I used to be really bad (waxed my 2000 every 2 wks, mainly because I worked at a steel mill and it got filthy). Now I am not to bad but maybe this photo says otherwise???

I tend to be really OCD about my vehicles, house, etc. My truck gets vacuumed quite frequently and the interior dusted/cleaned all the time. I clean/condition my seats about every 3 weeks. I wash it at least once every two weeks. In most cases, once a week unless it rains, which has been non-stop recently. I'm also a maintenance Nazi like no other, haha. We just bought a Cruze and I only let my wife run Shell, Exxon, or BP in the car. Same with the truck. I'll say this which is probably bad, but I still have the plastic that comes on the carpet from the dealership under the floor mats.

I am the same way. In my wifes van (bought in January) I left the plastic cover on one of the pillars by her feet because I know she gets that area dirty. Cant believe it has lasted this long

my 2001 is at the point where i dont care to clean it that much or im not afraid to hit bushes and shrubs and get a scratch or 2, but i keep the interior spotless.

 

when i get a new truck, ill clean it freakish amounts of time

I vacuum out inside, wash outside, and use spray wax once a week. I am all over the maintenance. And every night I use the California duster on it. Sometimes using the duster allows me to skip a week on washing exterior as it doesn't rain much out here in West TX.

in the 6 or 7 months that I owned my 2011 CC I washed it ONE time....

 

In the 2 weeks since I've had my 2012...I've washed it ONE time....but hey at least I'm on pace to beat my previous track record.
