Must not have been meant to be.

Next car won't be a convertible. To many damn restrictions for racing :(

Ryan

I'm not a fan of convertibles. With that said I still think your current one is a nice car.

I don't think they're ugly, I just think they take away from the look of the car in some way.

Drove it to Waterford mi to see my friends and we all worked on our trucks and swapped parts, then got dinner and cruised woodward.fd8dab2ea93bdee9cfc9734c947f532d.jpga2b2cdfad092d73556f758af41f9132d.jpg21e8d2cded6efcd0104307482abefaff.jpg3dda24efd8ca0807c007dd25814a6b18.jpg

My buddy was telling me the ragtop Camaros are built super strong to add structural rigidity with the missing hard top. Lots of extra bracing the hard tops don't have. That's a good thing if your putting out big HP numbers, and mash that pedal to the boards regularly.

Can't believe how quiet it is in the cab with the top down. He put some diffuser of some sort on the back (don't have pics of it) that streamlines the airflow. No wind and zero noise (except for his exhaust, lol - 700HP at the rear wheels is LOUD). It's like you have a giant glass top. Pretty wild.

The 5th gen was designed from a convertible point at the beginning of the design phase then transferred to the coupe.

Your friend probably has the Havoc rear diffuser

Ripped the intake manifold off. Intake is easy. .. that retarded plastic pos cover they attach on top is ridiculous. I had the manifold on the bench and that stupid thing was still above the heads because it wouldn't come off.

Yea I bet I'd wanna pull the intake off every how many miles to clean the engine. What a joke.

Huh.... mine was full of dirt from my airbox lid being damaged. Otherwise I would have never removed the intake manifold unless I had a purpose like a blower. ... fuel system upgrade etc. I didn't pull it to clean valves lol. My truck only has 24000 miles on it... the valves look great!

You guys read too much stupidity on this website and somehow think it's real world lol.

I better see you at woodward we cruised it last night.

This whole weekend I spent time in the square new radio speakers and swapped grills with a friend. Then we out them all in a car show this morning and cruised some more. Pics are all in the photography section.

How does an airbox lid get damaged on a brand new vehicle?
