Browsing cars.com today. Dammit there is a silver crewcab std bed with the 6.2 that appears optioned exactly as I would want it.

Don't think the crew with standard would fit your garage from pics I've seen of your truck parked in it

You need two trucks to be cool.

You got to be joking 1300 km to a tank my 2013 only got 550km to a tank at best I wish I could've got that many km to a tank now it's great on fuel as it's parked in the back 40 it doesn't use any fuel.

My 2014 would knock down 650-700 km to a tank weekly, when I was living in the city. I'm in the country now, so my fuel economy has only improved. The 14's are completely different engine than the 13 trucks. Also I said 1300kms if I had a 136L tank... Read the post, don't just skim it...

Your 2000 should have been close to the same length as the current pickup. Do you mean the new one has a 6'6" bed or 5'4" bed?

Engine decided to die, while I was driving, and didn't want to restart. I wonder if this is what dad experienced with the engine harness being corroded. I guess I'll find out Monday when they get a chance to look at it. Yay for extended warranties. Also thankfully it didn't do this when I was driving home with groceries, or to/from Tampa Wednesday night.

I saw a '14 or '15 half ton Silverado broken down on the side of the road while out on the motorcycle. Was in a bad spot on a narrow 2-lane road. Poor guy.

I have the same exact truck as your '13 and I'd love to see you drag the chassis out from mine any day of the week. We get it, your '13 was a lemon.

Lol I agree with that. .... my 05 1500HD can walk those sacks of Tundras.... I really don't understand where guys get off thinking they are powerful, enjoyable or fast. And if you love your Tundra as an owner so much... go whine about your Chev on a Tundra board. Extremely dated truck... completely pathetic power band... and an open rear end! Winning! Great pavement pounder for yuppies that haul the kids to soccer practice. There is a reason nobody buys the damn things in any volume and it's not because they are awesome.

He have a Tundra at work now and it lasted about a month before we took it out of work duty service. It was utterly garbage. The last straw was when we tried to tow a 5500lbs trailer to site and the Tundra damn near killed itself. This is a trip our Silverado's, F150's, and Ram's make on a regular basis and they were all RCLB (V8) trucks, the Tundra is an extended cab with a 5.7. We've given the tundra to the field checker, because that's about all it can handle, a couple sheets of paper in the bed...
