What did you do with your truck/shop today

Drove up to white mountains with my father in my truck to do some stream fishing for trout. Truck averaged 16.7 so iam happy with that. Been getting better mileage running 89 octane. Came home with 6 trout so there will be some good eating. Kstruckcountry I agree with you and now plan on getting LT tires this time. Was driving on dirt roads for the better part of the day and couldn't help but think some LT tires would add some piece of mind.

Yeah he's got a point - I forgot about nails and screws! Thicker is better on any job site.

 

 

 

I finally started clearing out the back section of my barn in preparation for an addition (and eventually a LIFT!). Got a long road ahead of me there. Lots of stuff back there that needs to be stuffed into the already bursting-at-the-seams front section. Moved a pile of lumber 6' tall.

 

Got a long way to go, but it's a start.

Put 4 new tires on the truck. Got Yokohama Geolander AT g015. Upgraded to LT tires also handling is different but nice. Much firmer ride.

Working on detailing (clay polish seal). Starting with hood and all 4 doors. Doing the baggy test it was way past due.

Well, hauled this today. Biggest load I ever pulled. Had no problem. The 6.2L did very well.

The door trim was pretty bad. Some tar and everything sticking to them. They came out great

I'm going to need a crew cab bad, man I'd love to sell mine and buy yours. Ive always loved your truck. I just can't swing a new one right now with the baby on the way and saving for a new house.

Finally gave her a bath. It's not perfect but it's still better than nothing. It's been so long since I've used that soap it grew its own friend lol. I need to figure out why 2 of my fender markers are collecting water. I guess after all this time the seals are wearing out.
