When I was working at a Chrysler dealer, I did a PDI on a 4 door Horizon, left side of the car had the Horizon badge on it, passengers side had the Omni badge on it. considered leaving it that way, but, we were the Plymouth dealer, so Horizon it became.

The garage that I worked in during the 70's and 80's had a customer that had a Comet that said Maverick on the glove box. For those that don't remember these models, Comet was a Mercury and the Maverick was a Ford.

People actually buy things like this for their trucks to make people think they are getting a higher trim level. There used to be a crook dealer close by that would try to rip people off by doing this. Would throw on some junk leather seat covers that didn't even fit properly and stick LTZ badges all over the trucks........Out of business now, wonder why?

I worked at a Chevy dealer in 78. We got a new van in with GM hub caps on one side and Chevy on the other. Then in the 80s I was looking at a new S-10. Chevy nameplate on one side, GMC on the other.

+1 I did a pdi on a new Silverado one time that had a GMC air bag in it.

my buddys friend had a gmc and put chevy emplems on the truck to make it look like a chevy but he forgot the steering wheel said gmc

I bought a new Chevy Cheyenne pickup in 1977 and it had a GMC grill on it. Dealer changed it before delivery. I should have taken a picture of it.
