My sister and I are pilots and getting ready to head to OTS.

I know it is either Vance, Laughlin, or Columbus. I find out in a few weeks. I am hoping to get based in either Lackland, Travis, or Dover for the C5. My dad was a Captain on the KC-135R's 25-30+ years ago, which I wouldn't mind flying. The C-17's are neat, and I would rathe fly it over the C-130, but I think I want to fly the C5. My dad went to Columbus.

 

What are your opinions on the C-17? How was Maxwell? What did you think of OTS? Which UPT base did you go to? Have you done the (SERE?) survival training yet? I am going to tour some bases soon and interview with the different bases. There is a June board where the package will be reviewed. Anyways, thanks in advance.
