nitrogen yes or no?

If it is free and you want to fool with it, it won't hurt anything but it does nothing, just another marketing tool.

Should already be a long discussion here about it. IMO you can thank NASCAR's increased television presence for the hype re nitrogen. If you need to be able to predict the pressure change in the tire with increased temp reliably, then by all means, use nitrogen. If you are like the other 99.99999999999999% of users, just use air.

Yeah, we run Nitrogen in our F-16's tires, but for other mentioned reasons.

Our you could use helium as it makes the tires and vehicle lighter so that equals better mpg's.

I have nitrogen in my truck, ONLY because I worked at the dealership when I put them on and it was free. Don't know about mpgs, but I can say I have not added one bit of air in a year and half.

another vote for air, as said above military aircraft use nitrogen, for it is more stable a gas especially for carrier landings.

Unless the company adding nitrogen has some way to purge the air out of the tire before adding it... they aren't offering you much more than standard air. Not much (if any) gains from nitrogen anyway. It's mostly used to prey on people gullible enough to pay for it.
