Back seat

Hi guys, I have an 03 gmc 2500hd sle extended cab. My problem is the backseat only has shoulder belts on the outer seats and a lap belt in the center, I now have three kids and need a shoulder belt in the center. Does anybody know if a backseat from another year or model will bolt in or do i need to get another truck?

Get a crew cab

I know getting a new or newused truck is not always easy, but your kids are only going to get bigger. If at all possible, get a crewcab and don't spend any more money trying to make the ext cab work. Your kids will thank you for the extra leg room.

Exactly why I got the crew cab when I did. The previous Sonoma was a crew cab but it's dimensions were identical to the full size ext cab. I'm 6'1" and even with the front seat all the way back I can fit in the back seat relatively comfortably, even on long trips.

I know in my 2006 extcab, the back seat has three shoulder belts. Is it possible for you to get a similar setup out of a wrecking yard, and install it your current truck?
