The New 2012 Silverado 6.2L, FTS Lifted on 22s

Figured I'd have to start my own thread here since the new truck has been acquired. I don't think I ever introduced myself either. But, I'm Robbie. I own OEM Parts Direct, also a preferred vendor on this forum.

Bought a 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, 6.2L w/ 6L80. Has the MAX Trailering package which consists of 3.73 positrack rear end with an HD rear axle, upgraded oil/transmission coolers, etc; Leather Buckets, Convenience Package, Bose, Bluetooth, Backup Sensors/Camera, small things like bed rail protectors, wheel well liners, and a pretty slick under seat storage organizer, etc. It is Summit White with Ebony leather interior.

Nothing crazy. We anticipated just buying a used NBS Silverado after we sold the Suburban, but after speaking with a friend of mine at GM, they were able to get me into a brand new 2012 for an extremely reasonable price. GM really took care of me on this one, even put those nice CK919 on Goodyear Fortera's on it for me.

Now, as far as mods go...

-Blackbear Tuned

-BakFlip F1 Tonneau

-Colormatched rear bumper panels

-Colormatched 2011+ 2500HD Front End (Hood, Bumper, Grill, etc)

-Full Throttle Suspension Lift (9" coilovers, powdercoated UCAs, rear reservoir shocks, etc)... more coming

-AMP Research Steps w/ LED lighting underneath

-22x12 Fuel Nutz 2pc Wheels w/ Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.50x22

I'll measure it here shortly and let you know.

Going to let it sit like it is for a little to see how it settles.

I like the lean, but I'm not ruling out another 1-2" lift in back.

Tires have roughly 6" of meat.

I'm not entirely sure about your HD question. Haven't had first hand experience with that. I don't see why it wouldn't work?

I think it should fit fine. My truck has an "HD" cowl hood, I think they put them on the 06's and 07 classics.
