My 09 cc was built in Mexico. When I bought my 12 cc I told the dealer I wanted an American built truck. I looked until I found a VIN starting with "1" that was what I wanted. I believe it has a Flint, Michigan sticker on the door panel.

I worked at a Dodge dealer in the early 2000's and the Mexican built rams all had the same fit and finish issues when they came back on trade and lease that the American built trucks did not have. I owned a 2000 Mexican Built Ram and it was the worst truck I have ever had. For that reason I bought a Ft. Wayne Truck. Judging from no complaints on here, I don't think GM has the same issue. It's sad that they have to build trucks there but thank NAFTA!

And I am still wondering why a Mexican built Truck cost the same as the U.S. built one if Union labor is SOOOOOO Expensive. Guess they are just pocketing the extra profits

My 07 CC was built in Canada, my 2012 in Mexico. I'd rather have my truck built in Mexico with the profits coming to the U.S. than my truck "assembled" in America with the profits going to Japan. My own opinion and not necessarily that of GM-Trucks.com or it's affiliates.

My 08 CC was built in Canada with most parts sourced from Mexico.

Even if you truck was built in Mexico or Canada, most if not all parts were probably sourced from Japan or Mexico anyways.

My '95 ext cab - Fort Wayne

My '99 2wd RCSB - Fort Wayne

My '00 z71 RCSB - Fort Wayne

My '07.5 ext cab - Canada

My current '07 - Fort Wayne

If it is made in Fort Wayne it 99% of the time has a Indiana sticker inside the driver door, all mine have had this.

My 2004 is Canadian. Damn Canadians....

We're not necessarily better then the mexicans at assembling, but we will say thank you when we take your money.. lol

It drove right up my butt when I crawled under my 2010 Sierra and saw "made in mexico" on the skid plate. All ram 1500 are built in america, but the HD's are made in Mexico. Most Fords are American made, sad thing is more Toyota's are made here than the rest of the "American" trucks.

I don't see a problem with Mexican built trucks. Why do Americans seem to think the best things are built in America? I bet the Mexican works far harder than an American!

My truck was built in fort Wayne and its not the highest of quality by far. Thankfully I have no squeaks -yet

Well I can say that my 2010 was built in Mexico and it has been problem free 2 1/2 yrs and 42000kms later its never been to the dealer for anything and theres no rattles or squeaks to mention of either.

Someone who worked at our local GM plant once told me he saw reports from all of the truck plants and that the mexican plant always scored high.
