Wondering why more SUVs and crossovers don't offer rear seat entertainment. I regularly get on manufacturer websites and do build your own and compare models. I just randomly wonder about specific features when I hear about a vehicle having one

The Equinox offers a Blu Ray system, the CRV offers a DVD system....the RAV4 and CX-5 don't and are newer.

GM's options are a bit strange also. You cab get RSE on the Denali trucks, but its not even an option on the Silverado, or Other Sierra's.

I bought....well, paid for....an electric oil extractor pump on eBay 7-8 weeks ago. Stuff from china usualy takes around 14 days so after three weeks I sent a message(eBay has "arrive by" date as Oct 1). The seller said wait two weeks, should be there by then. So I did, and sent another message. I send anither message, saying I'll juat take the refund. The guy said it may have been caught in customs, wait another week(can't file an ebay claim anyway until the arrive by date has passed). Another week goes by, I say I waited, ready for my refund.(no tracking number. Doubt the person shipped it). They now say they will ship a replacement, please don't file a claim. I said I just wait a refund, don't send another item.

He then copies and pastesbthe previous message again. So I did the same.

The guy had excellent feedback (98%) until about 3 weeks ago......now dozens of negatives saying they never received their item.

Does he really think he can win?

I've ordered stuff that shipped from China before. I hear you have to write "gift" on it for it to clear without hassle from customs. Could be that this guy got flagged cos he was sending a few too many "gifts" from China and got held up by his end or ours.

I'm always a little leary of ordering something that comes directly from China like that, a lot of times it doesn't meet us health and safety regs. (like the HID headlights I ordered in ~2004 or so were really cheap Chinese made products.) so if they're not flagged as "gift" they're inspected, and either taxed, confiscated, or sent back for various reasons.

We plan on going up to the snow country in the winter but my rear tires don't have very deep tread anymore*. The last time she saw snow/ice was in December 2012 and I didn't have a single problem with traction, so I wonder how I'll fair at this point.

I'm on 265/70/17 latitude tours.

*I do know that tread depth isn't the only factor.

The regions north and east of Phoenix where we get snow. And specifically, we usually head up to Sedona and Flagstaff.

EBay guy realized he is probably getting very close to an eBay ban and asked if I will want the refund (I said so FOUR TIMES over the month). I said yes. Hope he hurries and gets it to me tomorrow or else opening a case on his stalling butt

White1500, I liked going to Payson much better than either of those other places. When I lived in the Junction it was only 1.5 hrs away so we could be there and back pretty quick.

Yeah payson is also cool but the town is kind of odd, we never quite "found" the downtown district so we didn't know what to do. Any suggestions?

We're open to any cool towns.

And we also liked Prescott when we had to drive up that way back in June on our way to the GC. That atmosphere was very cool and the drive was very fun.

A "why did I think of that before" moment

Put the battery saver pads on the terminals of the corolla. Hooked up jumper cables from Tahoe to the battery terminal clamps before I took them off, all battery related settings saved.

I saw a very clean 04+ gmt800 crew cab sierra today that made me drool. I don't know if it was leveled but the front end was higher than usual, and it was z71.

I would take a low mileage and well maintained version of that in white with the 5.3/3.73 combo over any K2 in a heart beat. Especially if its an 06+.

Ya know comcast has some nerve harassing me about my service.

I canceled service on 9/4. The box for the modem arrived the next week and I shipped it the week after that.

They've been harassing the hell out of me, calling me and then telling me to hold (if you're not ready to talk DONT CALL ME) and now they send me a threatening letter telling me I owe them $110 for unreturned equipment.

OK first of all... you already charged me $12 a month for a YEAR for equipment rental. How can you charge me for unreturned equipment? I MORE THAN paid for your crappy modem.

Finally I call them and it says "your account has a credit of $12." Really? So then whats with the threatening language?

It's ok to basically throw the kitchen sink at ME when I supposedly owe THEM money. But when THEY OWE ME? nooooo.. its all silence.

I hate these high speed internet monopolies.

the worst thing is I wanted to remain a comcast customer when I moved out here, but since I'm 500' from a main line, they refuse to run service to me and the other 5 people that live on this road, so I'm forced to use DSL (which works just fine btw and costs a lot less.)

Only problem with DSL is that if something happens and my service stops, they will never be able to reconnect it and I'll be forced to use satellite like I live in the boonies, even tho 2 of the 3 properties that border my land has comcast high speed.
