Is it just me or does buying a fairly used K2XX seem the way to go? SO many people have issues popping up in the first year the easiest course seems to find a GM certified one that has had all the issues worked out, with an extra warranty tacked on.

 

 

I'm not in the market, but geez hard to ignore some of the crap that is going on with them

Certified won't mean the problems are ironed out. Aside from warranty, the "certification" is mostly marketing fluff. That and the inevitable incentives will make it a bad deal to buy lightly used, as has been the case for a while now.

I don't see how the used ones are any cheaper than new. Saw a sierra all terrain edition with 35k miles on it for 40k. Spend a couple more grand and you have a brand new truck! Absolutely love the all terrain wheels though

I said fairly used. Easiest kind of truck to find in OK is one with the miles piled on. Just saw a '14 for sale with 20K miles a few days ago

There is a ton less wiggle room on used vehicles. You can easily get a new one for $6000+ off MSRP if not closer to $10k.

It come with a longer warranty. That was my point on a model with a troublesome reputation.

Slapped a Hi-rise red dot mount on as well as modified a flashlight I had to fit in the scope mounts. AR mods are addicting...

I spotted a project truck I want to play with on CL. I can't get it without either a towing company (its a good distance from me so that'd cost a good bit!) or renting a u-haul vehicle hauler, which I can't use if I can't tow!

Anyone with knowledge on the GMT800 audio have any idea which adapter I need for an aftermarket radio? Crutchfield lists two of them, but only let's me choose one, and both of them say they do different things, but why wouldn't they let me select both then? Makes no sense...

 

I want to keep my steering wheel controls, Bose speakers, and audible chimes. Here's the two adapters listed, and what it says for each of them:

You need two, one for steering wheel and one for Bose.

I don't understand why they won't let me add both to the cart then? On top of that I'm wondering how all this crap plugs in. Seems like there wouldn't be enough connections? Idk?
