You should see how abysmal my Honda's tint is after 6 months/3400 miles. It's awful. Dealer offers lifetime warranty, but not sure I want their tinter to touch it again.

YIKES! Yeah avoid that noob like the plague.

Nice buy on the vacuum Chris...Got a DC24. A smaller model, but it pick up as much dirt as a tornado on the prarie.

Since everybody has an opinion, and I for some reason gather them before making a final decision...

Would it be ok if I had my tailgate handle bezel color keyed to the tailgate without blending the paint? I would think the truck is so new it wouldn't make a visible difference. Plus I would like to save a few bucks, as well as not remove any more parts than absolutely necessary.

You could, my worry would be later on with chips or scratches and blending then

Been working on my 51 8n it wouldn't start so ended up throwing a bunch of new parts on it and rewired the entire thing it rolls over now so I'm painting it and it's turning out beautiful. I hand painted all the raised ford logos on victory red, the rest is all true ford colors lol.

You gonna run the tractor in Parades?

Well it is a Honda

It was tinted by someone(dealer contracts it out) with 30 years experience.

I'm going to laugh if they claimed the windows were rolled down. The rear window is doing it also, and my pic is of a FIXED rear quarter window

What sucks is how big of a mess they will make. Removing new but "cured" tint from every window. Ugh, better put an extra coat of 303 on everything. I've been putting it off for that reason, worried I'll get it with a cut in the door panel or something, going to due a full look over when I pick it up, the car is still flawless inside.

Woah, I just got 190mpbs with a wireless connection on my 150 plan. Thanks, Cox. I rember when I was testing it during a troubleshooting, the phone tech was jealous and said my speeds were perhaps "too fast" (175 at the time) for my plan(he had the same plan and said he rarely saw 150). I was afraid they were gonna throttle my connection, but nope!

That's your phone getting those speeds?? That's friggin crazy!

Last year at this time I had a 3 MBPS connection with a .7 upload. Now I've got 65 down, 4 up - I thought I had the fastest net in the world, LOL. I can actually see HD now! What a difference.

Here are more, with and without flash, and an inside view. A guy on the Accord site, who does tinting wondered if my windows were dirty(Fair question since the internet is rampant with idiots). So that's two tinter's that are surprised.

Second pic should kind of give away its a tint problem

Looks like someone sprayed brake cleaner near the tint rolls ...

Cool, I'll go ahead with it then. Guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there :D

Saw this over on GMFS. I think it looks amazing.

For a Dodge... [emoji1]

Passed quite a few brand new Dodges in my travels the other day. Sharp looking, for sure.

After doing the brakes and hub bearing on my buddy's '06 Ram 1500, I'm pretty impressed with their build quality. In the past, Chrysler products have always had a reputation for being "quirky", but I think otherwise now. That and the fact my buddy has been abusing the thing for 10 years & 99k miles. If the body had a little more corrosion resistance, I'd be sold. His rear fenders are both almost rotted through already, and a little nick in the paint he got one winter is about to rust right through his door.

Never understood the manufacturing mindset. They CAN build a quality, great running truck, but then fill the interior with cheap chinese garbage, and clad the vehicle with sub-par metal. What good is a great engine when the body can't even make it a decade?

I'd better keep my mouth shut, or they'll listen to my complaints and start rolling out 10-year drivetrains ...
