I recently purchased a OEM radio part# 20934593 to replace my stock radio 25782842. With the new radio installed I can no longer
hear any warning signals that comes from the DIC the audible sound is very low. The turn signal noise is very low along with the back-up sensor warning and the warning you get if you don’t put your seat belt on (not that I care for that one anyways. Do you know why this is, or what I can do to make these warnings louder?

#1, there's an Audio section here

#2, no one can help you if you don't even put what type of vehicle you're talking about

I know at one time the warning chimes were actually programmed into the stereo. I don't know much more than that though.

you may have to get a dealer to flash the radio with the right RPO code for your truck . Is your audio/music also low in volume ?

I do believe all of the aural warnings (sorry, aircraft maint guy) started coming through the stock systems in 03. What did the replacement system come out of?

Sounds come out of left front speaker in door. Could be something wrong with the speaker. I lost them in my Silverado. Gave me a reason to add better speakers. All set after that.
