I can't live in a big city....

This guy is out of control, seriously. Props to the driver on driving defensively. I would have let him have it on the third brake check, I don't have enough patience to put up with people like this.

Yeah, I know what you mean! We dont do that down south nor do we tailgate, unless there is a tractor or horse-n-buggy going down the road.

Honestly I don't know if I would have been able to stop. I refuse to swerve like that though in a truck. In many deer wrecks the vehicle doesn't even touch the deer, they swerve and roll. I'll take my chances with my brakes and rear ending the guy.

There's plenty of tailgating when I'm down in Dallas, but people are generally pretty courteous. No brake checking at least! Dallas seems to be easier to drive in than most cities, let alone a college town, some people here are nuts.

The first part of it I was thinking get the make/model/plate & call the State Troopers, mention what you have on video. That last swerve deserved chasing his sorry *** down & drag him out of the car.

I would have called the police and followed him saying he's drunk, in BC they would be on his ass in no time, they have no patience for that here.

Maybe the guy filming did something to irritate the guy into a rage?

Wow. If I get cut off or almost hit, yea - if i have the chance I'll the give em a quick brake check but swerving all over the road like a nut case, potentially getting other cars involved??? That guy deserved to be pitted into the wall and punched in the face.

Yeah that's about what I'm like that guy crossed the line

That guy would have had a imprint of my bowtie on the back of his head if that was me.

That WAS insane!!! :banghead:

I couldn't make it in the large cities either. Scenes like that help me to love Wichita Falls, TX even more. We are right smack between OK City, OK & Dallas, TX. A nice size town, plenty to do, really only left lane & no turn signal drivers to worry about here...

The f*ckin' bay area, of course, and where else!? That's normal behavior there, and CHP will unlikely do anything about it if reported. Chances are the Toyleta driver is undocumented, uninsured, and looking for an incident that will yield them insurance fraud money from an accident in their disposable vehicle (tip: that series of passenger car plates were issued ~late 1995/early 1996). That socially decrepit behavior is one of the many reasons I left the bay area for Chico and never looked back. I've met many bay area "ex-pats" here who left for the same reasons I did. When someone makes a stupid/aggressive driving move here in Chico, a glance at the selling dealer license plate frame (if they left them on) will reveal that the car, and most likely, its' driver, came from the good ol' FUBARed SF bay area. You have been warned; my rant is done here.

    • Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer
    • Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.
    • My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!
    • When a condition becomes a business model.    https://www.gm-trucks.com/gm-truck-suv-incentives-pricing-2026/   Zane posted this in "Latest Articles".    The honest bottom line   Truck buyers have spent three years assuming this is a temporary condition that will break once inventories normalize. GM just presented it to investors as a durable strategy, on a chart, as evidence of good management.   Inventory did normalize. GM is at 511,000 units and squarely inside its own 50 to 60 day target. The discounts still did not come back, because the low incentive number is the goal rather than a symptom of shortage.   Plan your purchase around that reality instead of waiting for it to change. Follow our ongoing GM News coverage for pricing and incentive changes as the next-generation trucks land.
    • Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
