To level or not to level?

I have recently taken out my leveling kit on my 2011 silverado Z71. The ride is so much smoother. And my question is should I put the leveling kit back in? I like the look but the ride is kinda stiff. This is a feeler thread and I'm just asking your guys opinion. Thanks in advance for your input.

It's stiffer in the front and its not just a block. It puts more tension on the coil over shock causing it to take bumps harder than at normal height. It may not be as noticeable to u. But in my opinion it's stiffer. For u it may be ok. But I love how it rides stock. I only posted my question to get some feedback on what you guys think. I like how it looks with a leveling kit. Bumps just seem rougher that's all I'm saying.

personally like the look of mine better with the kit and in my truck I didn't notice a difference in my ride so if it were me, id be putting it back on.

I can say there is no ride difference(with an exception). Maybe a slight cornering difference or definitely a difference while towing. The only exception is one of the in-strut kits. They make it ride hellish. I had a Revtek one. Boo. I have firestones out back on mine for towing. The bags will raise the rear about half an inch due to the 7# of air in them at lowest pressure. Kinda still has very slight rake.

I'd say keep it level, because it looks better (at least to me). What is more important to you....looks....or ride comfort? There's your answer....and your own opinion is the only one that really matters.

The stance of your truck will look better with a lift kit installed. And if you want a smoother ride, get a suspension kit instead.
