I found 2 in transit coming to dealers about 50 miles from my house. Used the Chevrolet website search inventory page and found about a dozen trucks around the country all showing in transit. So it won't be long now. Probably alot of these first trucks the dealers them selves or their employees will be getting them. IMO

Every dealer is entitled to get one truck for stock from the first batch of vehicles produced then customer orders will be next....

Can't wait til they get to the dealers. I want a test drive. I will probably come home and hook it up to my trailer and see how this new technology pulls.

Chevrolet website showed 5 trucks coming to dealers in my area on Monday night. Today it shows 19 with one dealer getting 4 trucks. Just about all of them are either black or white with a couple silver. Should be some trucks at dealers by the first of the month if not before.

There is supposed to be a Deep Ruby 2014 Chevy on the lot at a nearby dealer so I took the short drive over there today to check it out but it was nowhere to be found. Can only assume it's still in the garage being prepped as I didn't see it in the showroom, either. They also carry GMC's and their website shows a Quicksilver Metallic "in transit". Quite a few 2013's on the lots of the dealers around here that can be had for a pretty darn good price but I think I'll wait a while to see how the 2014's pan out.

Alexander Chevy-Buick-GMC, has Two '14 Silverados (one of which is being shown "in Transit") and a single Solitary '14 Sierra in Transit. I might just pop over there and see what the deal is on the new Silverado.

 

EDIT: after talking with one of Alexander's New Car Salesmen, I learned that their website (which is actually done by a 3rd party web company) was WRONG about there being a 2014 Silverado on their lot, there are actually NO 2014 Trucks on Alexander's Lot, but the Salesman assured me that there will be in about 3 weeks. after the '14s get in on Alexander's lot and I take a look at one up close and personal, will I finally pass my final judgement on the new K2 Platform Trucks.

Any idea when they are coming to Canada?

 

If you look on GM Canada's website under "Search for Vehicals" they are showing several GMC's and Chevy's coming to the Calgary dealerships.

I was just talking today with a friend who is asst sales manager at my dealer. He said vehicles will show "In Transit" on their web site when they (the dealer) are invoiced. The vehicle may not have actually been shipped yet, just means its available to ship.

I just received an email from my dealer in Georgetown, Texas and he said they just received their initial shipment of '14 Silverados yesterday and he should be sending me some pics here in the next day or so.
