Yup I messed up first I picked the pictures but did not attach them! Doh! Overall not bad of a install. My only major lesson to others is to test fit test fit and test fit, then when it all looks to be right tighten down the bolts.

looks real good! i'm seriously thinking about getting a set for my truck to help out with the sag from my bed being loaded down.

I have the Firestones with the compressor and wireless controller. Awesome if you haul heavy loads. I have presets in mine for different loads. I have the base at 7# for unloaded, 30# for hauling ATV in bed, and 50# for my 7,000# Kubota tractor on a trailer.Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

HD Serria what do you mean by porpoising? I have not had a chance to load up the bed to see how much it helps, but I am getting ready to PCS(moving) shortly so the "big ugly" will be loaded up with only 2000-2500lbs so I will see how it feels. Right now I really don't feel any difference.

Porpoising or pogoing...the truck bounces up and down (oscillates) when you hit a dip. It takes a fairly stiff shock to control it when the truck is loaded heavy...its a similar feeling when carrying a lot of weight on a non-air bag suspension, when you hit a dip and the truck seems to bounce a couple times before leveling back out...it can be worse with air bags, they seem to amplify the issue.

So far no pogoing. I actually still have the stock shocks on it and no problems at all. I am planing to get some New shocks this summer, just because they are six years old, but since there are no issues it's hard to shell out 5-600 bucks! But overall I am very happy, going over speed bumps is still "harsh", buts its no different from before, it's the trade off for having a 3/4ton truck. I put the air valves in the gas cap area, nice and clean.

It won't pogo until its loaded heavy with a lot of air in the bags...put 5 to 10 psi in the bags when you're not loaded and it will ride normal...

I got my airlift bags installed yesterday...a lot of work! Haha! Took about four hours, but I was being very meticulous and very careful routing the air lines.

I pumped them to 30 pounds and went for a ride unloaded. Rode pretty stiff but solid. After 30 miles, I dropped them to 10 pounds and it rode a lot better, but still a bit rough.

I had put new tires on it last month and the tire shop put 80 pounds all around. Rode harsh. I lowered the air pressure to 55 front and 60 rear and the ride was much better.

With 10 pounds in the air bags it rides like there is 80 pounds back in the tires.

Today I am going to drop them to 4-5 pounds and see how it rides. I wont get a chance to pull a trailer for two weeks, and I am planning to start out with 35 pounds pulling our 7300 pound RV. We will see!

I want to remember (keep in mind this was on a newer Dodge 2500) that I never needed any more than about 50 psi in my Firestone Ride-Rites to level anything I hauled/towed (I didn't have anything that big). I bought them mainly for a slide in camper, but still only needed about 40 psi for that.

What I did was measure the unloaded height at the top of the fender wells with the bags empty, load the truck, then level back to the original ride height...that way your not riding nose low/high.

I'll probably put a set on this truck eventually...they come in handy.

I was also told not to have the bags lower than 5psi. I am running mine at 10psi.

I dropped the air pressure to 4-5 pounds and hate the ride....every little bump seems to be magnified right in my lower back. I am going to drop the air to zero just to see what the difference is. I know your are supposed to keep five pounds in them, but I am not sure I can live with the rough ride...ugh
