New to me 2001 GMC

I recently traded my Jeep Wrangler off on Craigs List for this 2001 GMC 1500. It has the 5.3 and SLT package so its pretty nice inside. I recently ordered some seat covers as the leather has seen better days but over all its a pretty nice old pickup. I also ordered a hinge repair kit from Total Automotive to fix the driver side door.

It has 197,000 on it. Over all its in pretty good shape for the amount of use. The previous owner just installed a rebuild transmission which is a huge plus.

Previous owner did install some form of lift front and rear. Im not sure what he did but i does have something and has slightly larger tires than stock.

I got seats in the garage to match yours. Leather isn't perfect but the cushion is good

I have leather seats that look exactly the same in my 2003 GMC. The leather on the driver's seat is split in two places. I talked to a local upholstery shop, who quoted me $550 for new leather on that one seat. He said he could match the color exactly. I'm thinking about it, but probably won't.

2001 and 2003 wont interchange. I learned that one. The electrical is different. That's why I couldn't use the spare seats I have
