BDS told me that the front track width would increase by 1.58", so I added a 1.5" adapter to the rear. I really didn't think it was necessary but I wanted everything to look the same.

Did you put the lift on with the 275/65s first? or did you put the 35s on at the same time. Curious how the 275/65s would look with this lift?

My plan was to keep the 275/65s until I needed new tires but they looked a bit narrow so i bought 35s the following day. My truck looked like it skipped leg day! Lol

I really like this. Good Job!

Hope do you rate the ride compared to the 2.5 level? I am really disappointed in my AT with 275.65 and 2.5 level. I don't know if I need to change these rancho shocks out or what but it is a really harsh ride in the front end. I feel everything on the road.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I wanted to post to this topic to add an experience I am currently going through. I purchased the Rough Country 3.5" lift for my 15 CC z71, and when I'm in 4 wheel drive I have a loud growling and vibration felt through the floor board. I had it done by a lift shop in Virginia Beach that seems to be pretty decent. I have seen that some members are running that kit without problems and I am not sure what my issue is, So I will be taking that kit off and I am having an RCD 4-6" adjustable lift installed. From what I understand they actually brought in the guy who designed the STABILITRAC system for these trucks, and it has bilsteins all around. I was assured that this lift will resolve my issues. "Fingers crossed" Its costing me more in the end and I did go to a different shop that does these trucks for the dealer next door, but I would rather not have these types of issues with the drive train. To all of you running this kit I'm glad you didn't have this issue, I just thought I would add this to the conversation.

Tx-at what did your fender Heights come out at.

I haven't found even ground to provide accurate measurements but this is what I got in my driveway. Numbers are with the BDS 6" kit & 35.12 Toyo MT tires.

FD - 44 1/2", FP - 44 1/2"

RD - 44 1/4", RP - 44"

I was told to give the front struts a while before they settle down. I hope it stays as is that way I can just lift the rear a bit to give it some rake.

Hello just got a member ship to a workshop and they have metal cnc machines and many other machines that can make truck parts. Does anyone know what material or what metal lift kits are made of

How many of you are running a 6" lift with 35's and have 3.08 gears?

How's the power with that set up?

I'm planing a 6" BDS with Fox upgrades and new leaf packs. Really want to run 35's but don't want my 5.3L/3.08 gearing to be a dog either. Wondering if I will need to stick with 33's.

I also put quite a few miles on per year. About 16k due to kids playing travel sports.

I wish that's all I put on my truck in a year! Exactly a year after I bought the truck I was at 31,200. Hopefully this is a slower year, but was crazy busy last year.

Really looking into getting the RC 7" lift kit, however im having a hard time finding pictures online of this exact kit installed next to something i can use as a size reference. I dont want it to be too tall, but i dont want it to look like its not lifted either. Ive been considering the 5" RC, and i really like the way the 6.5 BDS lift looks. Some of the pictures ive seen online of the 4 and 5" lifts barely look lifted (havent had a chance to see any of these kits in person yet)

I guess what im getting at is i want it lifted a decent amount, but i dont want it to be so tall i dont enjoy it.....

Anyone have any advice/pics that can help me decide?

This should give you a good idea of the 7" Rough Country.

I have the 3.42 gears but I was just wondering the answer to this question myself. Hopefully someone will chime in.
