Finally getting some pics up loaded 7" RCX lift and 35 12.50 20 nitto trail grapplers

Truck looks good!

The rcx lift doesn't require wheel spacers or anything to accommodate the stock wheels right? This is the setup I was originally going with then I heard lifts like bds, fabtech and pro comp would not allow the stock wheels. I like how the rcx sets the front and rear wheels even. How does it ride so far?

I think it rides good close to stock. It says u can use stock wheels but I have some rubbing at full turn on my sway bar. Ive only done that once. I am debating on spacers. I dont want them to stick out to far so well see.

Question here, I'm looking to lift my truck this winter and i want at least a 6 inch suspension lift and i want to put 35's on it. I was originally looking at the BDS because of their warranty. But the thing is i won't be doing hardcore off roading. I will go mudding a few times and going on a lot of trails and hunting, stuff like that. Any other recommendations that i should consider or just get the BDS? Thanks

Just stick with BDS. If a company is so confident in ther product that they will give you a complete NO BS warranty, if it breaks, no matter how old it is, they replace it. Then that means your getting damn good quality product.

I am looking to put mine up on a 4" and 275/65/20 Nitto crosteks and I'm gonna go with BDS. My truck will likely not see any mudding. It will see some off road. But nothing serious. But I like BDS's warranty and believe that you gotta get quality with that kind of warranty behind it.

And hey. Look at it this way even. Atleast if something does break, you know there will be a new part in the mail the same day or day after you call them and say a part broke. Any other company will try to find a reason not to send you the part.

BDS 4" lift allows for the use of stock 20" rims. Not sure about other rim sizes and other BDS kits though.

BDS kicks the front wheels out, but their recommended backspacing matches OE offset. I'm running the stock wheels on mine while I wait for the new wheels to show up.

Thanks, that sounds like a pretty good idea. Thats the route I'm gonna go.

How do i know what offset the rims need to be when i buy them? I know i want 18's I just don't know anything else about rims.

When i get the BDS lift does anyone know if i need to extend the break lines as well? Im looking to purchase and install everything this fall and want to buy everything at the same time. I just don't know what "extras" i need beside the lift, rims and tires. Thanks

The BDS/Mcgaughys lifts are almost identical when compared.. The kit will come with everything you need to install. No need for extra parts unless you up grade your A-arms/Ball joints, add on Fox Shocks, etc etc... I would recommend a 20" rim instead of 18" unless you like a lot of tire. 20 looks perfect on a 33 or 35" tire.. Just my opinion

And more negative the offset of the wheel (-12, -24, -44 etc. it will stick out pass the fenders a bit more. )

Just go on the BDS website they tell you what offset you need.

I agree with huthut8.

18 just seems too small to me for some reason. I know it's only 2 inches smaller, but still. I used to like rubber over metal, but 20s look great on these trucks.

Did you go with a 4" or 6" from bds? Any pics?!
