Nitto Mud Grapplers.

Had them on an old truck. Great off road. Wear FAST on pavement. Look amazing though.

Yeah I had a set of Mud Grapplers on my 84 K20, they wore out fast, were loud as hell on the road, but unlike Texas Husker I thought they sucked off road. I wasn't impressed at all… Certainly not worth their cost…

It was the only "off road tire" I've ever used so I don't have a good comparison knowledge base, but they did what I needed them to. And yes, they were annoyingly loud on pavement. Sounded like a plane was following me at speeds over 25. Cost was pretty up there, but that was 7 years ago I ran them.

a buddy of mine had these on an old Dodge single cab short box that he had, it had a 13" (10" suspension and 3" body) lift and they were 40x15.5x20.

saying those tires are "loud" is certainly an understatement. They were obnoxious haha.

And they do wear very quickly, he ended up getting a second set of tires that he would change out that were more pavement friendly since it was his Daily Driver.

Just back to stock wheels or back to stock height? Why the change?

Just stock wheels. I think these wheels are awesome. I just like a more stock look.

I hate to bring this up again, but I am still having trouble with my stabilitrak kicking in when I make sharp turns at normal speed. I have had the alignment checked and set to factory specs and had the steering angle sensor re calibrated back to zero. The thing is i don't think the factory alignment specs will work as that is for stock suspension. Now that the truck is lifted, it will be slightly different. Can someone who doesn't have an issue and has the Zone 6.5" lift kit installed post up their alignment specs that were used? Usually you will get a printout of the alignment. The specs are in the back of the Zone kit manual, but i have been told that is stock. The toe may need to be tweaked. Thanks.

Have you been able to figure out the issue with this one? In order to use the rim and tire combo I want without possibly running into issues with hitting sheet metal behind the fender liner I may have to go with a Zone 6.5 instead of the 4.5 lift. I'm curious to see if anyone has been able to figure out the stabilitrac i issue before I pull the trigger on the 6.5 this summer.

Funny you bring this up. The issue only has occured for me radomly. It actually happened yesterday and I was kind of fed up. I read on a Toyota lift forum that a guy was having the same problem. He actually found the issue with the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor. He found it in his truck under the console and shimmed it at a forward sloping angle with some washers. He claimed it solved the abs/stability control problem.

Now if I could only find the sensor in our trucks I would give it a try. I just ripped up the console and found a module mounted to the body underneath. I unplugged it and turned the ignition on. The stability track and air bag lights came on and indicated service. I then googled the part number and it says it is the airbag control module. I kind of thought it could be as the plugs were yellow. So now back to locating the yaw sensor. I looked under the seats and thought it could be under there somewhere but not really wanting to remove the seats.

I would think it would be somewhere near the center line of the body. Not sure why but something tells me it would be along the center line and not under a seat. Could be wrong though. And have you tried asking someone at a dealer? They may be able to shed some light on its location.

Hopefully you can find it and it will help solve the issue! Would make me a happy camper if it was figured out by summer [emoji4]

I am in the process of getting a 6" BDS coilover lift and 35" toyo mt's on 2015 silverado. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with gearing or more specifically needing to re-gear after swapping up to a 35" tire? Anyone with this set, is the 5.3 beefy enough for that size. I am used to diesels and this is my first gas truck so I'm just not sure what expect.
