I don't think you'll find many fans of AFM. Especially in the 6.2 crowd. Not to mention I seriously doubt you could add it to a older motor. One of the big changes for the engines with AFM and VVT is the ECM is rather powerful to run those components, the older ones probably can't.

 

And considering how popular tuning out AFM or buying the Range override is there probably isn't a market for it. I know if I buy a new GM truck one of my first purchases will be either a tune or the Range device.

If I upgrade to a newer 1500 series Chevy truck, that's the only way I will go, unless they put AFM on every engine in 2014, which is quite possible. The only trim level that is acceptable to me is the LTZ because of cheap interior materials used on other levels, and prices are going though the roof on new trucks. Today I stopped at a Ford dealer and an F250 with the diesel engine stickered for over $ 62k! Are they crazy? And F150 crew cab Lariat with a gas V8 was right at $ 47k!
