Current rebates of 2014 Sierra's?

I'm definitely in the market and have narrowed down the style, color, and features. Mine is 2014 Sierra, White, SLT, 4WD, Standard Bed, 20" wheels. I currently own a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 117,000 miles. I'm just about 95% financially ready to pull the trigger. Next raise is kicking in Oct. 1st. That being said, I'm willing and able to wait probably another 6 months.

I think I heard on the radio 2014's advertised at $5,500 off, but when at the dealership I saw only $2,500. I've always heard the absolute best time to buy is the week of Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Saleman need to meet quotas and dealerships are empty during those times. I'm also thinking after another 5-6 months the dealers will have a much larger inventory and the rebates will have to begin getting bigger.

1. Anyone seen dollar amount of current rebates?

2. For those that have purchased a 2014 Sierra, what % off did you get off MSRP?

3. From past experiences, when a whole new line hits in the year, how much did prices drop 6 months later, like in Nov. Dec?

In the meantime, I'm keeping my fingers crossed my current GMC truck makes it without repairs. Thanks for any info guys.

I haven't heard of any rebates. But my dealer told me last week he wouldn't be surprised if something comes along next month.

I wouldn't hold my breath... but 4 months from now I would think for sure there will be some rebate.

I would be interested in hearing what other paid.. I assume close to list price..

A couple of weeks ago my local south Louisiana dealer was offering $2000 off the SLT's. I drove to Houston and got $3500 off last week. While in parts dept today, local dealer told me they'll be going about $5000 off in a few weeks so I'm sure that means GM is close to offering a $1000-2000 rebate.

In Canada they are offering a $2500 cash back from the factory (that's over and above anything you can arrange with the dealer) of course my Denali is going to cost me roughly $7000 more in Canada than if I were over the border so that doesn't mean much!

so for you guys that have purchased in the last month... what did you end up paying? I have a feeling no one will answer.. but it would be good to know..

You get whatever rebates are available on the day you take delivery.

MSRP $45,560

Paid $42,100 + TT&L

I was $500 below invoice...$3161 off sticker. I opted for a lease this go round so some may want to know that Ally Financial is estimating a 62% residual which is crazy high. That's great for short term payments, but I don't expect much at the end.

Is this what you paid for your truck Moto?????

For comparison this truck in Canada would be $56,000 to 59,000. Shows how much more we pay in Canada. I just can not figure it out when out dollar is just under par

Yep, almost $3500 off on July 3rd. Funny thing is, if I had waited a couple more weeks I could have got closer to $5k off. The lots here in the south are full of trucks so it's already becoming a buyers market. Too bad I have ZERO patience. ha

I doubt seriously if any dealerships are offering much of a rebate on the 2014's since they still have a lot of 2013's to get rid of and their is probably a waiting list for 2014s. If you find one offering $5500 off you better jump on that IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Our local dealership are just about out of 2013 models, the $10,000 cash back 0% financing has cleared out a lot of stock
