Current rebates of 2014 Sierra's?

GM will come out with some sort of Loyalty rebate, in addition to any other general rebates.. These trucks will be sold to current GM truck owners. There isn't anything ground breaking or new enough to win over any competitive converts.

Is this what you paid for your truck Moto?????

For comparison this truck in Canada would be $56,000 to 59,000. Shows how much more we pay in Canada. I just can not figure it out when out dollar is just under par

Given that our dollar has been above par more in the last 3 years than below, one has to assume that it's simply gouging by GM, I've spoken to my dealer this last week about the fact that things like sunroofs are $995 on the US web site and $1395 on the canadian web site and he just shrugged !!

Well and as I have said before. A lady who I spoke with from GM Canada told me "They Charge What the Market Will Bear"! Probably because the economy in western Canada is fairly strong they are charging more out west were I live!

But really Canada's whole auto industry is a fart in a windstorm. More cars and trucks are sold in the state of California than all of Canada, so really the pricing in Canada has me puzzeled!

Alot of 13's still on the lots near me very few 14's and the one's they get only sit for a couple days. So the local dealers aren't offering much of anything on 14's right now.

came across this today, and no I do not work for a dealer.

FYI

$5000 of 2014 GMC Sierra - $4250 off MSRP + $750 loyalty

GMC's site only shows lease offer or 2.9% 60 month financing...

I just bought in Houston over the weekend after roughly a months worth of dealings. I've even walked out only being 600 apart from a deal and receive no call back or counter offer from the dealers. what they offered they stuck with which was around 3500 off MSRP. First GMC so no loyalty rebate either.

ended up buying truck that was MSRP at 49315 for 46K. Maybe i could have gotten it a little cheaper, but it was the only dealership that had the exact truck i wanted. even then I'm sure I lost out on only a couple hundred savings. They just were not dealing much at all.

Love the truck though so i guess that's all that matters in the long run.

that MSRP of 49315 was after the immediat 1000 off for SLT package which i'm assuming everyone is including as the real MSRP.

I finally went and test drove the 14's. Holy quiet, but most airplanes are quieter then my truck hummin' down the highway. Anyway I liked them, but dealer said he couldn't do anything besides my employee/family price. The 13 on the lot...SLE crew 24k. I was ready to go, but then I realized I didnt want to sit in the same exact interior for another 5yrs, so I am waiting for some 0%-1.9% offers with some other incentives. The last 3 trucks have been 0% so tough to go back to paying more to borrow.

I got 1.9 at 75

All dealers said 2.9 but when doing paperwork when they were trying to sell tge warranties I refused. They kept at it for like 10 minutes and still refused. Came back in and askes if id take the basic lowest one if they can do 1.9. I agreed. Which is a good plan since it covers electronics and I have most all including sunroof.

I'm definitely in the market and have narrowed down the style, color, and features. Mine is 2014 Sierra, White, SLT, 4WD, Standard Bed, 20" wheels. I currently own a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 117,000 miles. I'm just about 95% financially ready to pull the trigger. Next raise is kicking in Oct. 1st. That being said, I'm willing and able to wait probably another 6 months.

I think I heard on the radio 2014's advertised at $5,500 off, but when at the dealership I saw only $2,500. I've always heard the absolute best time to buy is the week of Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Saleman need to meet quotas and dealerships are empty during those times. I'm also thinking after another 5-6 months the dealers will have a much larger inventory and the rebates will have to begin getting bigger.

1. Anyone seen dollar amount of current rebates?

2. For those that have purchased a 2014 Sierra, what % off did you get off MSRP?

3. From past experiences, when a whole new line hits in the year, how much did prices drop 6 months later, like in Nov. Dec?

In the meantime, I'm keeping my fingers crossed my current GMC truck makes it without repairs. Thanks for any info guys.

Hello,

If you can provide me your zip code, I can check to see what incentives are current in your local area.

I was $500 below invoice...$3161 off sticker. I opted for a lease this go round so some may want to know that Ally Financial is estimating a 62% residual which is crazy high. That's great for short term payments, but I don't expect much at the end.

What lease rate did you get? The residual is fantastic.

How many miles was your lease? What awas the term? Do you know the interest rate?

I'm looking at a 12,000 mile/yr lease for 39 months and I'm guestimating my lease payments to be around $480...

I went with a 15000/36 lease. I just looked at my lease papers and it doesn't have the interest rate, but I believe it was around 3%. I had 1.99% on a 60mo purchase, but opted to go for the lease this time around.

    • The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.
    • Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.
    • I can't believe that could possibly be the case. It should be 36mo/100k miles from installation. Then again, it also seems like since a dealership installed it, it'd all be in the system and you wouldn't need to worry about registering, either. Shows you what I know. 😄 Hope this one outlives the warranty!
    • I haven't seen inventory recovery from COVID.    In the few random times I 'build my own' truck or SUV, no one has the exact one I want.   GM has been working to lower incentives too for a long time.    A $500 incentive isn't getting me off the couch to go truck shopping.
