That's definitely needs some work done. Just another excuse to get it done right. You might as well put money in the seat every time you walk by the truck lol.

She made it 160k miles on 60+ pounds of boost, I was playing with fire bud. You gotta pay to play, I'm sure you've heard that one before. LOL.

When will it be ready to go oot for a rip? Any estimates?

No clue bud, waiting for some pricing on different build configurations, then wait for parts, machining and assembly. Then I gotta install myself when I can find the time...probably this fall sometime [emoji106] depending on how many parts get back ordered lol

Little update.. Things move slow in Alberta lol. Otherwise, the failure was caused by a bad injector. It had nozzle damage, if you look back in this thread you will see me writing about getting really bad fuel last winter. This was the major contributing factor to the injector failure...oh well..no way of proving that 7 months later now lol.

Otherwise, the heads are at machine shop. Port polish job, new guides, seats and a fresh deck [emoji106] I'll post pics of em when I get them back

You gonna get the trans looked through since it is out already? Not sure how many miles are on it and I know with the power your playing with it probably wouldn't hurt

Sent while in 'Murica...

it has a Husker Built Stage IV sun coast, billet shafts and Suncoast 1058 triple disc, also have custom valve body the trans only has about 80,000 kms on it…the magnets and filters are clean. tranny isnt out its still in. its built to withstand 900-1000HP (wheel HP) and i was puttin about 650 through it…thats only like 50k ish miles. its fine, before all this happened it was acting fine its never limped not even once. i raced a guy pulling my boat once i boost launched @ 10 psi pulling my boat on the hot tune and it didnt limp!! ahhaahha!!!

I know the feeling lol. Though my project is much smaller, mr2, the motor swap I want to do is not easy nor cheap due to how new the motor is and it's rarity I guess lol. I only asked because my buddy was talking smack about how his buddies tuned Ford f350 was pulling 700hp and whatever torque beating an twin turbo duramax... so I showed him your ride and told him I think this wins because chevy!

Well, I do use it like a truck so it has kinda been a bummer of a summer...can't pull my boat, can't go camping. But it's not like were hurtin for a vehicle, the truck is a toy too...so whatever it takes it takes. Just as long as it's done right...but ya I think I'm up to over 7 grand now, still need to buy injectors and few other things. Probly end up being around 15-17k once completed

One of those buddies buddy stories eh lol...well I gotta a buddies buddy who has 98878777hp Duramax

Truth be told, if it really was a twin turbo Duramax with proper tuning would make 650hp to the wheel. Any f350 would have to make around 750 to the wheel to compete just because of the weight. Fords are super heavy. I think ur buddies buddy is full of shut hahah

Paid off my motor, it's completed just have to go get it in Edmonton now. Sorry for the long wait!! Feels like forever haha...she will live to rumble again pretty soon here!
