Looks good. I hate the tails on the XLT and lower trims. If I get a Ford next I'd do the same as you. Though chances are by the time I'm ready to buy the 2015s will be here.

Was your last truck an extended cab too? How does the Ford compare room wise? Do the doors seal out wind/road noise better?

My last two trucks have been Sierra crew cabs. The room in the Ford ext cab is just a hare less than my GMC. I'm 6'1" and as a test I got in the back seat with my roomie up front (who is of a height with me) and adjusted the seat and we were both comfortable. The road noise is actually quieter than my GMC even with the backwards doors.

Had my 2" Zone Offroad front and rear lift installed today followed by a set of 295/70R18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Love the stance. Also installed a new Smittybilt light bar and the KC Slimlites that I had on my Sierra. Only got one pic today before it got too dark but I will try and snap some more this weekend.

Congrats. I have a 2002 F150 with 169,000 miles on the clock. The modular motor took some getting used too but it's been a good truck. Currently chasing a misfire on a coil... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4

Awesome man... though not a pickup truck, I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with 192,XXX something on it. Still running the original engine and transmission and drives pretty damn well on the autobahn here. Just a biatch to park when taking it downtown with these small parking lots here in Germany. Ford doesn't make bad vehicles aslong as you take care of them.

As for the OP, congratulations on your ride. I'm still waiting till next June to get back into my Sierra rotting away at in laws house.

Good luck with your new truck. Still a pick up kind of guy!! Having problems already with my new sierra 1500.

If they don't make good I may go back to ram!!
