That's marketing, plain and simple. Their website doesn't specify what make/model the 35's can fit on, or what width the tires are. "Up to 35 inch tires (on select applications)" isn't the same as saying "will fit 35x12.5 tires on GMC 1500 4WD, with a max of 4.75" backspacing on the wheels". As someone already mentioned, that 35" claim is likely on a different make of truck.

That's true could be for a different truck/ year or maybe 35 tall and 11 inch width. I didn't say I wanted 35s. I just asked the gentleman a question and flowed up with the sales ad on Amazon and what the rep said. just so I clear this up here is what it says on the ranchos website ("doesn't specify make/model") is what you said

So i put my RC 2" level kit and Toyo 295/55/20's on this weekend. Install was simple, just like on my 2011. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands when wedging that spacer in there. 295/

2.5" RC, 275/65R20 Ridge Grapplers, Stock 20" wheels plastidipped matte anthracite grey to see if I liked the color. Turned out pretty good. I do have airbags which put my about an inch higher in the back, if I drop to 0-5 psi it runs almost perfectly level

They are great! very small hum at freeway speeds but with the radio on, you cant even hear them. overall super smooth and I love the aggressive look. They are a bit heavy at 60lbs each coming from the 40lbs stock but the truck still pushes them like nothing. I highly recommend them.

I plan on getting them in the 305/55/20s, if I get them. I really like the aggressive look of em. How many miles you have on yours? I had 35" Toyo MTs on my old setup. I love those tires too. They did great in the rain, highway and everything.

Not even 1k on them yet, just got them two weeks ago. But I have done some max towing on them and they perform great, they are rated E which is an added plus. you can clear 34's with 2.5 level and no trimming or rubbing by the way

Well, it thought about getting the 2.5" one, but I hear anything past 2" is putting a lot of stress on the suspension and such.

I think I'm gonna go with the Ridge Grapplers, I went on Nittos website and everyone rated them 5 stars for the most part. Whatever I can find cheapest between the Toyo MTs, Toyo RTs and Ridge Grapplers in the 305/55/20s, that's what I'm gonna do.

Haha lol no they won't clear my 33's barely clear but I have a 20x10 -12 offset maybe on a stock wheel it might

Heck no, I just think it's vague advertising and I'm more more likely to buy from a manufacturer who is either more clear or conservative in their claims and definitions.

 

I would love to find a thread/post where someone fits 35's under a 2.5" level or 2.5-3" coilover application, complete with clear pics and directions of what, if any, needed trimmed and the specs of the rest of their setup (UCAs, specific tire, wheel size and offset, etc). I'm getting ready to put King 2.5's on my front end and if I was sure I could fit wide 34's or 35's in there based on solid evidence, I would be all over it [emoji1360] So I'm glad you're bringing this up and maybe finding some details/scenarios.

Not sure what your laws are on false or misleading advertising but it's pretty straightforward here.

 

The false or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices provisions of the Competition Act contain a general prohibition against materially false or misleading representations. They also prohibit making performance representations which are not based on adequate and proper tests.

 

So I'm not to worried.

Worried about what? Buying them and not having them fit, and then not being able to return them?

 

I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about the absolute PITA it would be to install the level/lift, do the alignment, buy and put on tires only to find out they don't fit, then have to fight to get a refund for the lift (or tires) from them AND uninstall everything to send the lift back. The install, uninstall, pray, reinstall part just sounds horrible.

It maters what your rims are(width offset, extra, and you have to push in the wheel well more then likely. I'll give it a try when amazon has more available. No mater what I want the shocks my stock ranchos are trash.

Mine is a 2014 LT 4WD. Measurements are 38 5/16" rear, and 36" front. The 2.5" level will apparently set me nose high. Will it settle enough to be level or should I just get new rear blocks if I get the 2.5" front?

      Cold start Miss, oil in cylinder

      I’m out of ideas on this truck. 2020 Silverado 1500. 5.3 135,000 miles. Has a p0308 and p050d codes. Smokes From exhaust when cold. Compression test passed. New plugs, wires and coil on cyl 8. Same issue. New coil on 8, no change. Replaced injectors, no change. Bore scope showed oil pooled on the piston after sitting overnight. Pulled head and had machine shop check it out. No cracks. Stem seals looked good, replaced anyways. He also ground valve seats. Put it all back together and still have the same issue. Bore scope shows oil on the piston again. Leaning towards maybe a cracked ring but unsure. Cylinder looked good when the head was off, no scoring or scratches. Any ideas on what else I should look for?  Appreciate the help

      Just want to make sure it is covered by Special Coverage N232395310 Evaporative Emission Purge Pump 2021 Silverado 1500 Custom 2.7L L3B ~100k miles I'm getting DTCs P146B and P146F. VIN 3GCPWBEK2MGxxxxxx   I spoke to a person that works at GM and he said it is not covered after checking my VIN.   Is there anyone here who currently works for a GM/Chevrolet dealership and has access to GM Global Warranty Management / Investigate Vehicle History who could explain how the VIN eligibility is determined?   thank you

      Thanks for all that information, I might purchase one and see if it will work for me, if not they may let me return it! Yes for sure the tires are definitely within limit for my truck empty, and when I do tow I'll definitely make sure to raise the rear psi for the amount of weight that's going to be on it.

      Yes exactly, more and more these days people/companies are afraid of liability issues so its easier just to say no rather than risk putting their neck on the line.    I will say with the Autel unit or when I used it last year on my truck, it wasn't like I could choose the 2025 model year or even the 2024 model year as that option was not there to manipulate the placard pressures but had to go back to 2023 or there abouts and then it showed up as an option, odd but that was how the software was then and I can't say one way or the other now as they throw out updates every so often. I still would talk to your tire dealer though to start with and they may do it for nothing but also they may have a comment on a better unit to purchase. All I know is that one of the large tire shops in my area happens to use these Autel units for their use and set them up to use the wifi and all of that jazz for constant updating because each tire tech has one handed to them by the shop but I just plugged it into my laptop to update it and yes if one is bought it has to be registered so you can get the link to do updates and then the unit has to be updated before its even used. I am not at all techy so it took me a bit but anyway just a heads up for anything you buy, most likely it will need to be connected to a computer to access the internet to have it updated to the latest software version before you can put it to use.   If your truck is near empty, those tire pressures you listed are a very safe upper range pressures to carry the weight, both the front and rear as I know they could be run lower yet with an empty truck. And if its a trailer and not some motorcycle your going to strap onto the front of your truck on a rack, you shouldn't have a need to inflate your front tires if your at 55 front already, its the rear ones that would need more air if you have much hitch weight.

      Thank you, I'll check that Autel scanner out and see if it will work for me! Ya I can see GM's point of view if they lower the psi set value for someone and the person sell's the truck and the new owner puts the factory tires back on then their could be liability issues cause the psi warning light wasn't coming on when the tires were under inflated for towing their load and then it might be able to be traced back to GM lowering it.
