2 Inch Rear Block Question?

I'm looking at changing my front 1.25" leveling kit to a 2", and taking out the factory 1.25" rear block, and adding a 2" rear block. I want to get a kit that has the U-Bolts included for less hassle.

The problem that I'm having though is that I don't like the Rough Country kit. I like the Zone kit, but it's made to stack on top of the factory 1.25" block, and I don't want to do that. If I don't stack the Zone on top of the stock block then the U-Bolts will be too long, and unusable.

Anyone know where I can find just a 2" rear block kit that doesn't have to be stacked? I've looked on Zone, Skyjacker, Fat Bob's, Rough Country's websites, but nothing. If I got a GMT800 2" block could I just swap it out with my stock 1.25", and reuse the U-Bolts? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Any idea where I can find them at? Couldn't seem to find anything on Ebay.

ReadyLift has a 2.25" block and u-bolt kit. I do not think you would notice the extra 1/4"...

Just looked at their site, and I couldn't find it? :dunno:

Edit: NVM looked again, and found them.

Do not reuse the U-Bolts!!

Got it. Thanks.

I figured you'd say that. :)

A salvage yard can be your best friend. You can usually find deals on parts. The one here has a lot of low mileage total losses

I know none that are closer to me have anything I'll need. Im sure ones farther away will though. Just have to take a nice little drive to one.

I have the Rough country 2" rear blocks installed. No problems at all. I bought their 2.5" level kit - which comes with the 2" level block, an extra .5" spacer for the top of the strut and the 2" rear block with new u bolts.

I didn't install the extra .5" spacer because I wanted to keep a little rake.

I used the Zone kit, and just replaced the factory block with the 2" block, rather than stacking them. Yes, the u-bolts were super long, but my buddy's hand grinder fixed that pretty easily.

So there were still enough threads on the bolts to get them to tighten up? I can shorten them up, I was just worried about the thread length.

I did what the Rod did but it was ReadyLift not Zone. My bolts were really long too but it tightened right up and it's been great for over 2 years now.
