Questions about my new 2014

Just got the truck.. trying to figure out a few things...

First, for those that have the center console… how does the cup holder come out? Just pull it up? I tried… no luck.. didn’t want to yank on it too hard.

Second, the AC…

when the AC is on manual mode and I turn the fan speed down the lowest
setting.. I noticed the little speed indicator still shows a little more “room
left” to adjust the fan speed lower… but it won’t go lower?

Third, the power folding mirrors.

It looks like you get set the truck so when you lock it key flob, the side mirrors will fold in. I even saw a setting in the system for this, it's on... but the mirrors will not fold in when I hit the lock button on the remote? The mirrors do fold in as normal though as normal with the button in the truck

I think I found the answer to #3 - you have to hold in the lock button it says. Will try it later today.

Didn't know about the mirror- folding when locked setting. How do you set that up? BTW, I have the 40/20/40 front seat, and the rubberized piece for the cupholders don't come up easily. I tried, then stopped before I messed them up. Haven't used the HVAC in manual mode, so I can't give you a straight answer on that.

Yes you just have to hold lock button for a few seconds to fold, unlock to open the mirrors.

Do the cup holders come out? Not from what I can see. Feels like I would break it if pulled on.

I use manual on my ac also. I think that's just all the way down. The little bit left over is to show u it isn't turned off. I would like to know about the cup holders also.

The entire cup holder assembly does come out, it can be moved forward as well. You just have to pull up hard. Not sure if the rubber piece comes out of it, but I did remove the cup holder from a truck I test drove a couple days ago.

The cup holders fit the bucket seats/center console trucks just pulls out.

The folding mirrors work buy holding the lock button for several seconds to fold in and the unlock for several seconds to fold out...

Yes they come out. There is a little compartment under there. They are held in with a ball bearing spring. Give it a solid tug and it will come out

I know people at GM. For real.. I have no idea. My guess.. you have a Chevy? It's either because I have a GMC or All Terrain ? Maybe the GMC's are Red?

Interesting.... I would like to know if all Chevy's are Blue...
